Managing Director Brendan Lindsay is proud of his success and that of his team at their state of the art 200,000 sq foot factory in New Zealand. The name Sistema means system in Italian and that is how the concept was formed. Taking the simple premise that customers would want a well made, beautifully designed, food safe storage container that would be stackable, the Sistema range was born. |
The Klip It collection with its distinctive blue clips launched the company into the Australian and New Zealand markets. That range has now been added to with the release of the Microwave and To Go family of products designed for added convenience.
Sistema products are now stocked by many of the world's largest retailers and exported to over 25 countries in the world.

The Prime Minister Opens new Sistema Factory
The Right Honourable John Key has officially opened Sistema’s new state of the art 6,000 sq metre (65,000 sqfoot) manufacturing facility. Located beside the existing manufacturing plant this new factory utilises state of the art machinery and will enable Sistema to continue with its international growth. At the opening ceremony Managing Director Brendan Lindsay acknowledged the contribution made by his team of over 300 people. Their innovation, hard work and enthusiasm had given the business the confidence to expand and the company was on target to achieve record growth in its international markets.

Brendan Lindsay Honoured
Managing Director and owner of Sistema Brendan Lindsay was honoured in the New Year Honours list. He is to be awarded the title of Member of New Zealand Order of Merit, MNZM on 19th April in Auckland. The award will be presented by the Governor General of New Zealand and is for services to the business community.
Sistema wins again
At an New Zealand Trade and Enterprise award function in Auckland last night Sistema won the award for The Best Use of Design in International Business.This very prestigious award recognises the design excellence of our product and is a accolade of the work of our Design Director Allin Russell and his team.
Sistema wins Westpac Exporter of the Year
Sistema Plastics are proud to announce we took out the major award of Westpac Exporter of the Year (total sales over $35 million) at the Air NZ Cargo Export Awards event held at the Langham Hotel on Friday 17 June 2011.
